Juno Awards: 2011

DRAKE AND JUSTIN BIEBER LEAD JUNO NOMS

It's that time of year again! The 40th annual Juno Awards will (luckily for me) be taking place in the lovely city of TORONTO!!! How exciting is that! With March quickly approaching us (yes, my friends, today is February first if you haven't noticed already), The Junos are coming upon us and today a press conference was held to announce this years nominees!

International Canadian sensations Drake and Justin Bieber both lead this years nominations, each taking in six. I am also super excited to say that Down With Webster was treated by the nominee fairy and recieved two nods, while Hedley received three! Others who received nominations include Arcade Fire, Drake, Justin Bieber, Johnny Reid, Classified and more!

Here are some of the nominations announced yesterday:

Album: The Suburbs, Arcade Fire; Thank Me Later, Drake; The Show Must Go, Hedley; A Place Called Love, Johnny Reid; My World 2.0, Justin Bieber.


Single: “Oh Canada,” Classified; “Find Your Love,” Drake; “Perfect,” Hedley; “Hallelujah (Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010),” k.d. lang; “Wavin’ Flag,” Young Artists for Haiti.
